HUSQVARNA K960 DIAMOND CHAINSAW

The Husqvarna K 960 Chain is a petrol-driven power cutter with a diamond plunge. It is based on the popular K 950 machine, and includes all of its technical and ergonomic advantages. With a concrete plunge saw you get better access in tight situations. You get better control and you avoid gyro forces. You get sharp corners, without over-cutting, and you can make up to 390 mm deep cuts from one side. This makes the concrete plunge saw a perfect complementary cutter, where the first cuts are made with a traditional blade cutter.

Diamond chains
Husqvarna have developed a special series of diamond chains for the K 950 Chain. They’re available in a variety of hardnesses, for different types of cutting jobs, and are designed for high-power, tough operation. Fitting the saw bar and chain is very easy, and the chain is tensioned without any tools.

The K 950 Chain
The K 950 Chain can make openings as small as 11✕11 cm, and is perfect for openings with irregular shapes.

The Active Air Filtration™ has been upgraded with a redesigned paper filter, for even better dust control.

SmartCarb™
Built-in automatic filter compensation, maintains high power and lowers fuel consumption.

Patented, dust-sealed starter unit, where the return spring and the pulley bearing are sealed. This makes the starter virtually maintenance free, giving a further boost to the reliability of our cutters.
EasyStart ensures 50% easier starting by reducing the compression in the cylinder during starting.
Self-lubricating clutch bearings for extended work life.
Easy to tension the chain without tools.
Our anti-vibration system reduces vibrations in the cutter handles, so they are more comfortable to hold and can be used for longer periods. To enable the user a comfortable operating position and to reduce strain, the distance between the handles is large. The handles and the short engine body mean the user always stands close to the machine, for easier handling and control.
